ASAP Schedule Options:

Four 10-hour shifts per week (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.), rotating weekends Alternatively, a 7 days on / 7 days off day shift block schedule

Responsibilities:

Manage multiple concurrent duties in a central inpatient pharmacy setting Verify EPIC medication orders accurately and efficiently Review and check technician work to ensure compliance and safety Respond to pharmacist phone calls and provide clinical guidance Prepare and dispense inpatient and outpatient intravenous medications, including chemotherapy Handle inpatient unit dose medications and outpatient chemotherapy administration Support diverse clinical areas including Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, emergency department, and surgery cases Manage medication distribution for an inpatient census averaging 30 to 40 patients

Desired Experience:

Licensed Pharmacist with inpatient pharmacy experience Proficient in EPIC or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment Experience with chemotherapy preparation and oncology pharmacy services a plus This contract assignment is ideal for pharmacists interested in flexible scheduling and broad clinical exposure in a community hospital setting.
