The Pharmacy is seeking an experienced, dependable, and patient-focused licensed Pharmacist to join its community retail pharmacy team. This opportunity offers a desirable Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule , competitive compensation, and health and employee benefits. Position Summary The Pharmacist will oversee the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, provide patient counseling, supervise pharmacy support personnel, and help ensure the pharmacy maintains high standards for medication safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications. Evaluate prescriptions for appropriate dosing, interactions, contraindications, allergies, and medication-related concerns. Counsel patients and caregivers regarding medications and appropriate use. Communicate with prescribers regarding prescription clarifications and medication-related concerns. Maintain required prescription, controlled-substance, inventory, and pharmacy records. Provide appropriate oversight and supervision of pharmacy technicians and support personnel. Assist with medication ordering, inventory management, storage, security, and expiration monitoring. Administer immunizations and provide other pharmacist-delivered services when appropriately authorized and credentialed. Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Ensure pharmacy operations comply with applicable federal and West Virginia pharmacy requirements. Provide professional and responsive service to patients, prescribers, and community partners. Qualifications PharmD from an accredited pharmacy program; or Existing pharmacists holding a historical BSPharm and have maintained valid professional standing Current and unrestricted West Virginia Pharmacist license or ability to obtain appropriate West Virginia licensure prior to employment. Immunization certification preferred. Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred. Strong medication-safety and clinical judgment skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer-service skills. Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff. Compensation & Benefits Annual salary: $128,960- $156,091.62 / annually (DOE) , based on qualifications and experience. Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule.
