Pharmacy Service Associate About Davies Drugs Davies Drugs is an independent, multi-service pharmacy in North Canton, OH. We pride ourselves on the wide range of health care services we provide to fulfill patients' healthcare needs and to help our community right where they live. We are committed to delivering the highest quality care to our community including free local delivery, non-sterile compounding, maintenance medication programs, immunizations, wound care products, therapeutical compression garments, DME, and more.
Role:
We are looking for a pharmacy associate to help assist the pharmacist, and pharmacy manager by serving customers and maintaining the pharmacy department. Performing daily tasks to serve customer needs and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. Medicare billing experience is always welcome.
Salary:
Starting $14.00 (salary negotiable based on previous pharmacy and/or customer service experience)
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Your purpose is to work closely with the customer and pharmacist to find solutions to individual health care challenges provide excellent customer service to customers within the pharmacy department. Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening Greet customers and answer questions Establish and maintain patient profiles Enter sales into the cash register, process payments, and bag prescriptions Resolve issues when they arise Interact and respond to the requests as customers Undertake administrative tasks as assigned by a pharmacist or manager Comply with all security measures and quality standards Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed •The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00AM-6:00PM Candidate profile
Requirements:
High school education or GED equivalent required Personal attributes: Capacity to work in a team Self-motivated Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Reliable Aptitude for using computers Having a background working in pharmacy is not required. Applicants are not required to be certified or registered for this position. We have on the job training and will aid in the process for any individual that wishes to become a state registered technician.
