Description of Job Duties Job Summary:
The College of Pharmacy at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) invites applications for a full-time, 9-month appointment in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the rank of Assistant Professor. The position is based at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City and is responsible for the provision of Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPEs) in the area of adult inpatient medicine.
Description of Job Duties:
The successful candidate is expected to develop a role-model, clinical teaching practice in adult inpatient medicine, as well as contribute to the campus-based team-taught pharmacotherapy course series and patient care skills labs. Scholarship and service activities at the College, university, and professional levels are also expected. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Education and Experience Education & Experience:
Candidates must possess a Pharm.
D., PGY2
residency training or equivalent clinical experience and be eligible for licensure in Oklahoma. Anticipated Start Date 10/1/2026 Location Oklahoma City Employment Type Exempt
