Position Summary The Pharmacy Student Affairs Assistant support the office functions within the Feik School of Pharmacy Office of Student Affairs. This position is funded by the Federal Work-Study program and is open to UIW students who are approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study Program.
Essential Functions Essential functions include:
Greeting visitors to OSA, including prospective students and families, offering assistance where possible. Assist with preparation for FSOP Admissions Interview Days. Assist with preparation for group tours and visits or other events hosted by the Office of Student Affairs. Serve as a backup tour guide. Perform day to day clerical duties including organization of office materials, photocopying, restocking. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge Skills and Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Demonstrated organizational and time-management abilities. Attention to detail. Punctuality and dependability. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Appropriate attire according to Student Handbook. Required Education Current UIW student with a 2.5 GPA (or higher), awarded Financial Aid Work-Study eligibility. Required Work Experience No experience required. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Canva Knowledge of Microsoft 365 skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations None. Work Hours Flexible hours available depending on the selected candidate's schedule with a maximum of 20 hours per week. Hours available must fit within the range of Monday to Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with possibility for very occasional Saturday event hours. Physical Demands Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
