This contract role offers the opportunity to lead the pharmacy department with the potential for temp-to-hire consideration or placement as a true traveler. The position is available to start ASAP, with an initial duration of 13 weeks or longer.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive oversight of the pharmacy department, including management of personnel, compliance with regulatory standards, budgeting, and purchasing Ensure smooth department operations aligned with hospital goals and patient care standards Collaborate with hospital leadership to optimize pharmacy services and maintain quality
Qualifications:
Current Director of Pharmacy experience in a hospital setting is required Ability to obtain an Alaska pharmacy license promptly—note that the Alaska license process no longer requires a law exam, with licensing approval typically completed within 3 to 4 weeks Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
