Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead daily pharmacy operations in a specialty retail environment. This contract position offers the chance to manage a dedicated team of two pharmacy technicians, ensuring seamless workflow and compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities include supervising pharmacy staff, overseeing prescription dispensing accuracy, maintaining regulatory adherence, and supporting non-sterile compounding processes, particularly creams and gels. The role requires a hands-on leader who can foster an efficient and patient-focused pharmacy atmosphere.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and team management Experience with non-sterile compounding of topical creams and gels is highly advantageous Proficiency in pharmacy software systems, with familiarity or willingness to learn New Leaf system preferred

Position is based in Mobile, AL, with options for contract or contract-to-hire arrangements
