Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract Lead the pharmacy operations in a dynamic healthcare environment, overseeing a diverse team to deliver exceptional medication services. This contract position is based in Peridot, AZ, and offers an exciting opportunity to manage and enhance pharmacy functions without requiring an Arizona license.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 64 staff members, including pharmacists, lead technicians, technicians, and clerical staff. Manage the daily workflow of pharmacy personnel to ensure efficient provision of pharmacy services and timely dispensing of approximately 1,100 to 1,200 prescriptions weekly. Coordinate staff scheduling to meet operational demands while supporting team productivity. Collaborate in setting and achieving departmental goals aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. Maintain pharmacy cleanliness and organization to uphold safety and compliance standards. Oversee daily reconciliation of medication and supply orders, addressing discrepancies and communicating resolutions effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree and/or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of Pharmacy. Minimum of three years' experience as a pharmacist, with at least two years preferred in a hospital setting. Current and active Pharmacist license required; Arizona state license preferred but not mandatory.
Schedule:
