Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type All Job Types An opportunity is available for a licensed Retail Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services under the direction of the Retail Pharmacy Manager. This role involves overseeing the procurement, distribution, storage, and administration of medications in compliance with all state and federal regulations. The position requires a strong commitment to professional standards and excellent interpersonal communication.

ASAP Key Responsibilities:
Compound and dispense prescribed medications accurately. Review physician prescriptions for accuracy and ensure proper formulation. Supervise pharmacy staff involved in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. Provide drug information and counseling to patients when accepted. Maintain compliance with quality assurance, controlled substances security, and hazardous waste disposal procedures. Enter patient and prescription data for pharmacy records and inventory. Instruct and supervise interns and pharmacy personnel, maintaining required ratios. Resolve third-party pharmacy system issues promptly. Report prescription errors and medication incidents immediately. Foster collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals. Pursue ongoing education to stay current with laws, regulations, and pharmacy programs. Manage customer interactions professionally, addressing service requests and feedback. Contribute to pharmacy sales maximization while controlling expenses. Ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to organizational policies.
Qualifications:
Licensed pharmacist in the State of California. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.

D. from an accredited college. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Compliance with federal, state, and local pharmaceutical regulations. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
