Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Contract An interim leadership opportunity is available for a Director of Pharmacy at a 70-bed Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital. This contract role offers a chance to oversee pharmacy operations and serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for the site, ensuring compliance and optimal pharmaceutical care.

Chula Vista, CA (San Diego area)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, day shifts
Contract Details:
Immediate start Duration of 13 weeks with potential for temp-to-hire
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direct oversight of all pharmacy operations Serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) ensuring regulatory compliance Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care initiatives Manage pharmacy staff and workflow to optimize efficiency Utilize RX Connect system for pharmacy management and documentation
Qualifications:
Active California Pharmacist license required Proven experience working as a Director of Pharmacy in California Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor staff Familiarity with LTAC hospital pharmacy operations preferred Proficiency in pharmacy IT systems, specifically RX Connect, is a plus This role is ideal for an experienced pharmacy leader ready to step into a critical position with immediate impact.
