This full-time direct hire opportunity is based in the Fremont, CA area and offers the chance to oversee pharmacy services, staff management, and regulatory compliance in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct all pharmacy and operational functions to ensure effective and compliant service delivery. Apply knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 standards, along with State Board of Pharmacy regulations. Oversee compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring services in collaboration with medical staff. Ensure pharmacy practices meet federal, state, and local licensing and standards. Prepare prescriptions, medications, and solutions with accuracy and efficiency. Assess patient drug information and adjust care plans accordingly. Manage preparation and security of controlled substances. Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and sales teams as needed. Lead hiring, training, performance management, and strategic planning for pharmacy staff. Maintain on-call responsibilities and provide pharmacist coverage when necessary. Perform additional managerial and operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph.) license with relevant clinical experience. Current and good standing California pharmacist license; additional licensure may be required. 3-5 years of pharmacist experience with a focus on compounding and specialty pharmacy or home infusion preferred. Knowledge and experience with infusion practices and regulation compliance. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. CPR certification and CareTend proficiency are desirable.
