$175,000-$185,000 Position Overview A growing specialty home infusion pharmacy is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead pharmacy operations, clinical services, regulatory compliance, and team development. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an experienced pharmacist who has a strong understanding of home infusion, sterile compounding, and pharmacy operations and is comfortable leading a team while maintaining high standards for patient care and compliance. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day pharmacy and operational functions Lead, train, and develop pharmacy staff Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality pharmacy services Oversee sterile compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring Ensure compliance with

USP , USP

, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations Maintain compliance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements Review patient, medication, and disease information to identify potential drug-related problems Develop and revise patient plans of care Oversee preparation and accuracy of compounded medications and solutions Participate in controlled substance management and security Collaborate with physicians, referral sources, and healthcare partners Provide drug information and clinical support as needed Support business development and sales initiatives Manage hiring, training, performance management, meetings, scheduling, and payroll approval Establish team goals and support process improvement Participate in the pharmacist on-call rotation and provide coverage as needed Qualifications PharmD or RPh with appropriate clinical experience Active California Pharmacist license in good standing 3-5+ years of pharmacist experience Home infusion or specialty pharmacy experience strongly preferred Direct sterile compounding experience preferred Strong knowledge of USP and USP Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to train, educate, and lead by example Excellent customer service skills CareTend/CPR+ experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will bring strong infusion expertise, operational leadership, and clinical knowledge and will be comfortable working in a hands-on environment while developing and leading a pharmacy team.
