Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Contract Lead pharmaceutical care delivery as an Interim Pharmacy Operations Manager in a dynamic 250-bed hospital in Northern California. This contract role offers an immediate start with a 3 to 6-month assignment, ideal for an experienced pharmacy leader ready to drive excellence in operations and team management.
Responsibilities include:
Managing clinical, financial, administrative, and information systems within the pharmacy to ensure efficient, compliant operations. Planning, organizing, and coordinating workflow to optimize service delivery. Hiring, training, and mentoring pharmacy staff to develop a high-performing team. Serving as the primary liaison between pharmacy management, physicians, and hospital personnel. Upholding compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations. Leveraging hospital and community resources to address operational needs effectively. Assuming the responsibilities of the Director of Pharmacy as needed during their absence.
Desired Experience:
Significant leadership experience within a pharmacy setting, demonstrating the ability to manage complex operations. Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and compliance requirements. Proven skills in staff development, communication, and workflow management. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a hospital environment. Experience in both clinical and administrative pharmacy functions preferred.
