This is a contract assignment lasting approximately 8 to 13 weeks, offering the opportunity to lead and manage pharmacy operations in a well-established setting.

Closed Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire prescription processing and dispensing cycle, including communication with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients. Manage and supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth daily operations. Handle pharmacy opening and closing procedures. Complete all necessary Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) documentation and compliance paperwork.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience. Prior experience as a Pharmacist In Charge is highly preferred. Valid California pharmacist license in-hand. Certified to administer immunizations. Possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proficient with McKesson Enterprise (ERx) pharmacy systems.

Candidates local to the area are preferred, though qualified travelers who can commit to the assignment will be considered. Travel reimbursement and meal stipends available for out-of-area candidates, with arrangements for lodging as needed. Final interviews will be conducted by the client's pharmacy team.
