Job Overview Carl's Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy in Aspen, CO seeking a dynamic and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy operations with enthusiasm and expertise. In this vital role, you will oversee daily pharmacy functions, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, and foster a patient-centered environment that promotes health and wellness. Your leadership will drive team performance, enhance patient service quality, and uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on community health while managing a dedicated pharmacy team. Duties Lead and manage the pharmacy team, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, to deliver exceptional patient care and service Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, HIPAA regulations, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance Supervise medication management processes, inventory control, medication administration, and drug regulation adherence Maintain high standards of clinical confidentiality policies while providing patient care in diverse settings such as community pharmacies Manage pharmacy workflow efficiently to optimize patient service delivery while maintaining inventory levels and controlling costs Qualifications Licensed pharmacist with current practicing credentials in Colorado Experience in pharmacy practice in community pharmacy preferred Proven leadership skills managing pharmacy teams effectively in fast-paced environments Strong knowledge of pharmacy software systems Excellent patient communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence In-depth understanding of state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation policies, and healthcare compliance requirements including HIPAA regulations Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications in immunizations Familiarity with inventory management practices and managing pharmacy operations efficiently Join us as a Pharmacy Manager to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding pharmaceutical care.
