Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Join a dedicated per diem pharmacy team providing vital care to the
HIV/AIDS
community in the Sanford, FL area. This role supports specialized retail pharmacy services focusing on sensitive patient populations, requiring a compassionate and proactive pharmacist.
Location:
Sanford, FL Schedule:
Per Diem - Coverage primarily on Thursdays, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with potential additional shifts Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. No weekends required.
Responsibilities:
Dispense medications with accuracy and professionalism, specializing in
HIV/AIDS
drug therapies. Provide empathetic, respectful patient care, cultivating trust within a sensitive patient demographic. Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and the pharmacy team to ensure seamless patient support. Utilize QS1 pharmacy software proficiently to manage dispensing and inventory tasks. Identify operational needs proactively and assist where necessary to maintain efficient pharmacy functions. Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance for scheduled shifts.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in Florida with an active license. Minimum of 1-2 years experience in retail or specialty pharmacy, specifically with
HIV/AIDS
medication dispensing. Demonstrated sensitivity and respect for the needs of
HIV/AIDS
patients. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience with QS1 software or ability to quickly become proficient. Positive attitude with a commitment to high-level patient care and support.
