Role:

The Director of Pharmacy is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and clinical services of the Pharmacy Department while practicing as an active staff Pharmacist within an inpatient psychiatric facility. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patients but also their families, and make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, your patients, and your community. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations and clinical services of the Pharmacy Department
• Practice as an active staff Pharmacist within an inpatient psychiatric facility
• Lead and coordinate pharmacy regulatory compliance
• Represent pharmacy on hospital regulatory compliance committees and efforts
• Evaluate and ensure compliance of organizational policies with applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations, including but not limited to those of The Joint Commission (TJC) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)
• Coordinate and participate in audits as required by regulatory bodies
• Coordinate creation and updates of Department of Pharmacy policies & procedures
• Precept, supervise, and support pharmacy staff
• Oversee all operational and financial aspects of an inpatient pharmacy department serving a patient population with diverse psychiatric and medical needs

Qualifications:

• Pharm.

D. degree

• Five years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Active pharmacist license in the state of Massachusetts
• Leadership and management experience
• Great communication skills

Compensation:

• Annual salary range: \$130,000 to \$155,000
• Compensation will be determined based on the candidate\'s relevant experience.
