2989952970-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Essentia Health is seeking a Retail Pharmacy Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations of our community pharmacy site. In this leadership role, you'll supervise pharmacy staff, coordinate workflow, and ensure accurate, safe, and timely dispensing of medications. You will manage inventory, monitor regulatory and accreditation compliance, and support quality and safety initiatives. The supervisor partners with clinicians and retail teams to deliver compassionate, patient-centered service, resolve escalated issues, and coach team members for growth in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the retail pharmacy site to ensure efficient, accurate medication dispensing Supervise, schedule, and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations and Essentia Health policies Manage inventory, ordering, and controlled substance handling to minimize waste and shortages Monitor quality, safety, and documentation standards, addressing variances and implementing improvements Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, and clinic teams to support patient-centered care Resolve escalated patient and customer service issues in a professional, compassionate manner Track operational metrics, prepare reports, and recommend process improvements Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of pharmacy staff Promote a culture of collaboration, integrity, and community-focused service within the pharmacy Required Skills Retail pharmacy operations Medication dispensing systems Inventory management Regulatory compliance (state and federal) Insurance and billing processes Staff scheduling and supervision Customer service in healthcare Quality and safety procedures Electronic health record/pharmacy software Performance reporting and metrics
