Description :
Overview We're looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Pharmacy Operations to lead our pharmacy division and help shape what's next. This highly visible leadership role combines pharmacy operations, strategic growth, financial performance, compliance, team development, and exceptional guest care. From identifying new growth opportunities to developing strong pharmacy leaders, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across our organization. What You'll Do As our Director of Pharmacy Operations, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership across the pharmacy division while developing teams, strengthening performance, and ensuring our pharmacies continue to deliver safe, compliant, and remarkable service.You'll :
- Lead and inspire pharmacy leadership teams, including Pharmacy District Managers and pharmacy office staff, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, development, and results.
- Shape the future of our pharmacy business by leading short
- and long-term growth strategies, including pharmacy acquisitions, clinical services, 340B contract pharmacy relationships, and long-term care opportunities.
- Own pharmacy financial performance, partnering with leaders to drive sales, gross margin, profitability, labor, inventory, budgeting, forecasting, and other key business objectives.
- Champion operational excellence by identifying opportunities to improve processes, technology, training, efficiency, and overall pharmacy performance.
- Lead pharmacy compliance and risk management, ensuring operations meet applicable federal and state requirements and maintaining programs related to HIPAA, Medicare accreditation, Fraud, Waste & Abuse, DEA requirements, prescription monitoring, and other pharmacy regulations.
- Build strong partnerships across the business, collaborating with Finance, HR, IT/IS, Marketing, vendors, and other teams to achieve pharmacy and company goals.
- Elevate the guest experience by ensuring our pharmacy teams are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and committed to helping patients get the most from their pharmacy experience.
- Develop and retain great pharmacy talent, creating an environment where highly skilled pharmacy professionals can grow, contribute, and enjoy the work they do.
- Serve as the organization's Compliance Officer for pharmacy-related compliance, rules, and regulatory needs and stay current on evolving pharmacy systems, technology, policies, and industry standards.
