This is a working Pharmacy Director position for a 42-bed LTAC hospital located in Columbia, MO. Plan, direct and monitor all financial, operational, professional, and clinical activities of the department. Ensure that all pharmacy staff is currently licensed, certified, and/or registered and complies with all applicable regulations, policies and standards of the hospital and PharmaCare Services. Develops rapport with hospital staff and provides timely information relative to drugs, policies and standards of care that relate to medication use and safety. Keep current with State regulations regarding the practice of Pharmacy and implements changes as necessary to maintain compliance. Requirements Hospital pharmacy experience (minimum two years preferred) Missouri State Board Pharmacist License Good computer skills and experience with pharmacy software Self-motivating and proven leadership ability
