Job Description

Job description: Pharmacy Clerk Provide excellent customer service at the pharmacy pickup window. Assist customers with prescription pickup, answer pharmacy phone calls, process cash register transactions , and handle other duties under the pharmacist supervision. May also assist in the gift department, including merchandising, pricing, and maintaining retail store shelves and displays. One to two Saturday cashier shifts per month required. M-F 9-5:30 with Saturday 9-5:00 shifts with a corresponding week day off to compensate. 40-hour work week with benefits (following successful completion of probationary period) including: health insurance, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) match. Must not be on the Government Exclusion List as determined by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) and System for Award Management (SAM).
Requires:
outstanding customer service skills, strong attention to detail, basic mathematical skills, reliability, ability to stand for long periods of time, bending, lifting, working closely with others. Also requires the ability to keep patient information absolutely confidential. Preference will be given to candidates who have customer service and cash handling/cash register experience, basic computer skills and strong telephone and in-person communication abilities.
MUST HAVE

Minimum education required:
