Category Pharmacy-Director of Pharmacy Job Type Contract An interim leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager at a smaller rural hospital in New Hampshire. This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and requires a strong background in hospital pharmacy management. The primary focus is to oversee daily pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and managing key department functions.

Responsibilities include:

Managing daily operations of the pharmacy department Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and internal policies Overseeing human resources and budgetary aspects related to the department Representing the pharmacy in organizational meetings and initiatives Leading various projects to improve pharmacy services Supervising a team of 5 full-time pharmacy staff members Desired qualifications and experience: Proven hospital pharmacy management experience, preferably as a director or manager Ability and commitment to obtain a New Hampshire pharmacy license promptly (the state has a relatively straightforward licensing process) Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively represent the department Experience with budget management and regulatory compliance
