3010177957-2 Apply for this job now Job Description As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you'll provide safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services in a fast-paced retail environment. You will verify and dispense medications, oversee technicians, and ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations. You'll counsel patients on prescriptions, administer immunizations, and perform medication therapy management to optimize outcomes. In this role, you'll manage inventory, support quality and safety initiatives, and collaborate with store leaders to deliver excellent customer service while advancing your career through robust training and growth opportunities. Responsibilities Verify, dispense, and check prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety. Provide patient counseling on medications, side effects, and proper use. Administer immunizations and other pharmacist-allowed clinical services. Ensure full compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations. Supervise, train, and support pharmacy technicians and support staff. Perform medication therapy management and drug utilization reviews. Maintain accurate records, including controlled substance documentation. Manage inventory, including ordering, storage, and reduction of waste. Resolve insurance and third-party billing issues to minimize delays for patients. Collaborate with store leadership to deliver excellent customer service and meet operational goals.
