Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Manage pharmacy operations at a busy retail location in Binghamton, NY, as a full-time Pharmacy Manager. This direct hire role offers variable day and afternoon shifts, totaling approximately 62 hours bi-weekly, with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the store operations team to enhance associate engagement and communicate company strategies. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance. Drive business growth by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Oversee inventory management and ordering to meet customer demand and maximize profitability. Align department performance with key measurable metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Provide exceptional customer service, including healthcare counseling and resolving customer concerns. Supervise and train pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, managing performance and discipline as needed. Maintain pharmacy security and compliance standards. Build strong relationships with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription issues. Keep the pharmacy organized and ensure continuous staff development and labor cost control. Prioritize and complete vital pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Current New York State Pharmacist License.
