$58/hr ($2320 weekly) Position Overview We are seeking a licensed and experienced Pharmacist (RPh) for a full-time contract opportunity in Farmingdale, NY . This is a Monday-Friday daytime position with a consistent schedule and no weekend requirement listed. The ideal candidate will have retail pharmacy experience and be comfortable providing safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Review and accurately dispense prescription medications. Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and contraindications. Provide professional medication counseling and education to patients. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and pharmacy staff regarding patient medication needs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and pharmacy regulations. Monitor medication therapy and identify potential drug interactions or other concerns. Maintain accurate patient and medication records. Support prescription processing and pharmacy workflow. Answer patient questions and provide excellent customer service. Ensure proper medication storage, handling, and inventory management. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment. Perform other pharmacist duties within the scope of practice as needed. Requirements Active Pharmacist (RPh) license in New York. Recent retail pharmacy experience required. Strong knowledge of prescription medications, pharmacy procedures, and medication safety. Excellent communication and patient-care skills. Ability to work independently and effectively within a pharmacy team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to commit to the full contract and Monday-Friday schedule.
