We are partnering with a growing pharmacy organization seeking a Pharmacist in Charge / Pharmacy Manager for its New Paltz, NY operation. Leadership opportunity We're looking for someone who can take ownership of an operation and help lead it through its next stage of development. Growing team As the operation expands, the pharmacy is expected to include a team of approximately 4-6 pharmacy technicians in addition to pharmacist support. Clinical growth The pharmacy is expanding its capabilities across behavioral health, long-term care, specialty pharmacy, and onsite injectable medications. What You'll Do As the pharmacist leader for the New Paltz operation, you'll be involved in both pharmacy practice and operational leadership, including: Overseeing day-to-day pharmacy operations and workflow Reviewing and verifying prescriptions for accuracy and clinical appropriateness Providing pharmacist consultation to patients, caregivers, providers, and other healthcare professionals Supervising, developing, and supporting pharmacy technicians and staff Helping build efficient processes as the operation grows Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy requirements Managing inventory and appropriate medication-control procedures Supporting quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborating with operational and commercial teams as the pharmacy expands its services Helping create a strong culture of service, accountability, and patient care Who We're Looking For We're less concerned with finding someone from one specific pharmacy setting than we are with finding a strong pharmacist and capable leader . Qualifications PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy Active New York pharmacist license in good standing Pharmacist experience required Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Pharmacy management/PIC experience preferred, but not required for an exceptional candidate LTC, behavioral health, specialty, or institutional pharmacy experience is a plus, but not required Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
