Closed Key Responsibilities:
Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy. Maintain pharmacy compliance with all federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies. Oversee pharmacy operations, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory management. Lead pharmacy support personnel through performance management, training, and accountability. Participate in business development efforts within the store and community. Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management, and wellness programs. Counsel patients and healthcare providers on drug use, interactions, side effects, and monitor patient progress. Maintain quality improvement programs to ensure patient safety and service excellence. Ensure a clean, organized workstation and department in compliance with standards. Fulfill continuing education requirements to retain licensure.
Qualifications:
Active New York State Pharmacy License. Immunization certification with comfort administering all vaccines (required). Recent experience as a pharmacy manager preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy professional ready to take on a leadership role.
