Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist | Mansfield, Ohio
Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A per diem pharmacy role is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage. This opportunity requires flexibility to work primarily between September 14-18 and November 25. The pharmacy operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, but the pharmacist schedule runs from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with no lunch closure.
Responsibilities include:
Verifying and processing over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software Data entry and accuracy checks to ensure patient safety Answering phone inquiries with professionalism and clarity Managing the receipt and signing of controlled/narcotic drug deliveries Collaborating with a team including three full-time pharmacy technicians Qualifications and experience desired: Current and active Ohio Pharmacist license At least 1+ years of recent retail pharmacy experience Proficiency with PioneerRx or comparable pharmacy management systems is preferred Strong attention to detail and communication skills This role does not require immunization duties.
