Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Oversee pharmacy operations with a focus on home infusion therapies in this leadership role based in Westerville, OH. This position requires an experienced pharmacy manager to supervise daily activities involving sterile compounding, IV admixtures, dispensing, and inventory control while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Lead and develop a team of pharmacists and technicians, emphasizing training, orientation, and performance management. Collaborate closely with clinical staff to optimize patient care through effective use of intravenous therapies and contribute to business strategies enhancing branch efficiency and profitability.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Must have schedule flexibility with administrative on-call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily pharmacy operations including sterile compounding and safe preparation of IV therapies Lead recruitment, training, and evaluation of pharmacy staff, managing on-call scheduling Ensure compliance with State Boards of Pharmacy regulations and USP guidelines Provide clinical oversight and collaborate with healthcare providers to support optimal patient outcomes Participate in budgeting, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program Active, unrestricted Ohio Pharmacist license Minimum 5 years' direct experience in clinical and operational roles within home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage and develop staff In-depth knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation standards Experience with CPR+ or CareTend systems highly preferred Prior infusion pharmacy experience strongly preferred; specialty pharmacy experience considered This direct hire opportunity is ideal for an experienced pharmacy manager who thrives in a clinical, operational, and leadership capacity within a home infusion setting.
