Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise pharmacy activities in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Innovate pharmacy practice and operations, collaborating closely with administration and corporate leadership. Mentor and oversee clinical pharmacists and support staff, fostering professional growth and teamwork. Ensure compliance with JCAHO, DEA, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations. Maintain safety, infection control, and disaster preparedness protocols. Set and communicate departmental goals aligned with hospital objectives. Manage recruitment, training, evaluation, and retention of pharmacy personnel. Promote multidisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited institution. Minimum of 3 years hospital pharmacy experience; 2 years in a leadership role. Active pharmacist license in good standing. Ability to obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Preferred:

Doctor of Pharmacy degree, 5+ years hospital experience, ALS/ACLS certification.
