Schedule:

8 hours per day, day shift

Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, control, and supervise hospital pharmacy operations according to policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements Recommend practice innovations and execute corporate initiatives in partnership with Administration Support, mentor, and oversee clinical pharmacists and support staff Ensure compliance with JCAHO, DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and safety/infection control standards Set and communicate quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals aligned with hospital objectives Lead recruitment, training, performance evaluation, retention, and if needed, termination of pharmacy personnel Maintain policies and procedures and facilitate ongoing staff education and competency assessments Foster teamwork among pharmacy staff, healthcare providers, and other departments to enhance patient care and organizational goals

Qualifications:

B.S. or Pharm.

D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy Minimum three years of hospital pharmacy experience; two years in leadership Active pharmacist license in good standing with state board BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire

Preferred:

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) Five or more years hospital pharmacy experience

ALS/ACLS

certification (required if responding to Code Blue)
