Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to serve in a working Director of Pharmacy role at a Critical Access Hospital in Oregon. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with both inpatient and leadership experience who enjoys a hands-on role managing pharmacy operations while actively staffing and supporting patient care. The facility is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with an average daily census of approximately 10 patients, offering a collaborative environment where pharmacists play a vital role in both clinical and operational functions. Friday Schedule:
8:00 AM - 4:30

Omnicell Responsibilities Serve as the working Director of Pharmacy while actively staffing daily pharmacy operations Verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety Perform inpatient pharmacist duties and clinical pharmacy services Provide oversight and support for pharmacy technicians Review and verify sterile compounded products and IV preparations made by technicians Required Qualifications Active Oregon Pharmacist License Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Pharmacy management or Director of Pharmacy experience Sterile compounding experience Experience verifying IV admixtures and compounded sterile preparations Preferred Qualifications Critical Access Hospital experience Experience with Cerner Experience with Omnicell automation systems Previous experience serving in a working Director of Pharmacy role This is an outstanding opportunity for a pharmacist seeking a leadership role with a balanced schedule, no on-call responsibilities, and the potential to transition into a permanent position.
