13-weeks Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Interim Regional Pharmacy Manager to lead and oversee pharmacy operations across an established healthcare organization in Newport, Oregon. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, effective, and high-quality delivery of pharmacy services while providing leadership, clinical expertise, and operational oversight. The ideal candidate will have strong pharmacy leadership experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacists, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and evaluate pharmacy department operations. Provide leadership and oversight to pharmacy staff and assigned departments. Maintain effective management controls to ensure quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Oversee departmental activities, functions, and costs. Prepare and dispense medications accurately and safely. Assess patients' clinical status and support appropriate medication therapy. Provide drug information and clinical guidance to physicians and other members of the medical team. Educate patients regarding medications and appropriate drug therapy. Support continuous improvement in pharmacy services and patient care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy. Required Qualifications Current, unrestricted Oregon Pharmacist License required. Leadership experience required. Must meet one of the following: Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency. Completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy practice residency plus 1 year of pharmacist experience. 2 years of pharmacist experience. 1 year of leadership experience plus 1 year of pharmacist experience. BLS and ACLS required at the healthcare provider level.
