Job Description

Job Summary:
We're seeking an active, people‑first Pharmacy Manager to lead daily pharmacy and fulfillment operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role — you'll be on the floor regularly, engaging with staff, ensuring quality and compliance, coaching team members, and maintaining an excellent patient and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day‑to‑day pharmacy and fulfillment operations to meet accuracy, safety, regulatory, and productivity goals. Be actively present on the pharmacy floor: observe workflows, remove roadblocks, help where needed, and ensure tasks are completed. Supervise, mentor, and coach pharmacists, technicians, and fulfillment staff; promote professional growth and high performance. Monitor quality control, medication safety, and compliance with federal, state, and company policies; implement corrective actions when needed. Handle escalations and staff concerns with compassion and sound judgment. Provide clear, respectful feedback to staff and escalate operational or safety concerns to senior management when required. Maintain staffing schedules, authorize time off within policy, and assist with recruiting and training. Track KPIs (fill rates, error rates, turnaround times, inventory accuracy) and drive continuous improvement. Enforce clean, organized, and patient‑centric workspace and workflows.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and fulfillment workflows (dispensing, inventory, labeling, verification). Proven leadership experience in a retail, hospital, or fulfillment pharmacy setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Compassionate listener Confident in confronting performance or safety issues—able to give honest, respectful feedback and enforce standards. Commitment to coaching and developing team members; passionate about helping people grow. Ability to work standing, walk the floor frequently, and be hands‑on during shifts (not a desk‑only role). Proficient with pharmacy management
Working Conditions:
Fast‑paced environment requiring frequent movement on the pharmacy floor. Must meet physical requirements (standing/walking for extended periods, occasional lifting of moderate weight).
Compensation:
Competitive salary benefits (health, PTO) — commensurate with experience $80-120
K Pay:
$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
