Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire An established retail pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to support its Newport, PA location with a direct hire opportunity. This role offers variable day and afternoon shifts, totaling approximately 74 hours bi-weekly, with an immediate start date available.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with store operations to drive associate engagement and communicate pharmacy and company strategies Ensure accuracy and compliance in dispensing prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and quality assurance aligned with state and federal regulations Manage the pharmacy department to maximize profitability and prescription growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) where available Control inventory effectively by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demands Align department performance with key metrics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of pharmacy operations Provide exceptional customer service, counseling patients on medical-related concerns and building trust Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline as needed Maintain pharmacy security, cleanliness, and organization while addressing customer inquiries and concerns Liaise with healthcare providers and utilize reference materials to resolve prescription issues Prioritize and complete pharmacy department tasks such as cycle counts, inventory control, and managing will-calls

Desired Qualifications:
