Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A retail pharmacy is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead its pharmacy department in Burnham, PA. This full-time, direct hire role offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, typically consisting of 10- to 12-hour shifts between 8 AM and 9 PM.
D. degree. Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License. Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to manage a retail pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate a collaborative relationship with store operations and engage pharmacy associates by clearly communicating department and company strategies. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance. Drive profitable business growth and increase prescription volume through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Manage inventory effectively by tracking sales and ordering stock to meet customer demands and maximize profitability. Lead and supervise pharmacists and pharmacy staff, handling training, coaching, and discipline while maintaining department security. Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving complaints and medical-related inquiries to build trust and loyalty. Collaborate with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription-related issues. Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy environment and prioritize tasks including cycle counts, inventory management, and customer will-calls. Monitor department performance against seven key metrics to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency.Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree. Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License. Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to manage a retail pharmacy team.
