Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A retail pharmacy location in Williamsport, PA is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead their pharmacy department with a focus on operational excellence and customer care. Variable day and afternoon shifts 10-hour shifts (9am-7pm) 11-hour shifts (9am-8pm) 12-hour shifts (8am-8pm or 9am-9pm)

Approximately 69 hours bi-weekly

ASAP Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with store operations to engage associates and communicate pharmacy strategy clearly Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance following state and federal regulations Drive profitability and prescription growth by implementing recommended clinical programs, immunizations, and Medication Therapy Management (MTM) initiatives Manage inventory control, order pharmaceutical stock, and track weekly sales to meet customer needs and maximize profits Align department performance with measurable key metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency Deliver excellent customer service by addressing medical-related inquiries and providing healthcare counseling Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions Maintain pharmacy security and cleanliness, and oversee regular training and development to reduce turnover and manage labor costs Resolve customer complaints and questions to build trust and loyalty Liaise with physicians and utilize reference materials to address prescription issues
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree required Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License Current Pennsylvania Immunization License This is a direct hire role offering a competitive hourly range of $59.50-$71.50, with potential for higher compensation based on experience.
