  • Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Oversee pharmacy operations with a focus on leadership, compliance, and customer care in this pharmacy management role located in State College, PA.
This position offers a direct hire opportunity with an ASAP start date, providing variable schedules that include 10 to 12-hour shifts supportive of a dynamic work environment.
Schedule:
10-hour shifts: typically 9:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM 11-hour shifts: typically 9:00 AM
  • 8:00 PM 12-hour shifts: either 8:00 AM
  • 8:00 PM or 9:00 AM
  • 9:00 PM Variable day and afternoon shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Foster a collaborative partnership with store operations and pharmacy teams to drive associate engagement and communicate company and department strategies. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance by completing comprehensive Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance in adherence to regulatory standards. Manage the department's profitability and growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Collaborate with the pharmacy District Manager to control inventory, optimize stock levels, and maximize profits. Align performance objectives with key measurable department metrics and continuously improve operational efficiencies. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing medical-related inquiries and healthcare counseling. Supervise pharmacists and pharmacy support staff including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Maintain pharmacy security and department cleanliness. Handle and resolve customer concerns to build trust and loyalty. Engage with physicians and utilize reference materials to clarify prescription issues. Manage pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call follow-ups.
Qualifications:
