Physical Requirements This position may include sitting at a computer work station for extended periods of time utilizing repetitive motions, may require standing for extended periods of time, and may require the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Shift Primarily Monday through Friday, day shift hours. Job Summary This position is responsible to review charge control processes for UK Healthcare Inpatient Pharmacy services and ensure compliance between doses and charges for drugs and pharmaceutical supplies. This position requires prior computer knowledge and multi-system knowledge, including Epic, wholesaler interfaces, Pyxis system, and SAP. Pharmacy expertise with pharmacy billing, drug coding, CMS coverage guidelines, and drug knowledge to comprehend clinical documentation and interpret dosage requirements to ensure accuracy of pharmaceutical billing is also required for quality control assurance. This position is also responsible for processing invoices and working with UKHC accounting for proper vendor payment. In addition to daily duties, projects of varying time horizons will be assigned as needed.
