401(k) 401(k) matching Competitive salary Dental insurance Relocation bonus Vision insurance Pharmacy Director Memphis, TN Full Time The Director of Pharmacy manages the medication use process through the planning, organization, management, and direction of the operations, clinical activities and staff of the Pharmacy Department. Responsibilities Provides direction of the department through the development, implementation, evaluation and modification of the hospitals pharmacy practice to align with best practices within the profession Ensures legal and regulatory compliance with federal, state and local laws and accrediting bodies Recruits, hires, develops and retains competent pharmacy staff Creates the annual budget and submits capital expenditures requests per policy Reviews and revises Policy and Procedures annually or as required by hospital bylaws Performs related duties as required.
Required:
Experience:
5 years of pharmacy experience; 3 years working in hospital pharmacy management
Education:
Pharm. D. or Bachelor of Science in
Pharmacy Licensure/Certifications:
State of Tennessee Pharmacy License Preferred:
Experience:
Pharmacy residency or fellowship training
Education:
Master's Degree preferred
