Licensed Pharmacist Full Job Description Role Overview:
The Manager of the Outpatient Pharmacy oversees daily pharmacy operations, serving as the Pharmacist-in-charge (PIC).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage clinic drug distribution, home infusion services, and workflow within the pharmacy to enhance customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. Conduct bi-annual inventory assessments. Support strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational requirements include a high school diploma; a Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy is required or preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in retail pharmacy. Licensure by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is required.
Skills & Key Duties:
Strong leadership and operational management skills. Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and inventory management. Ability to monitor workflow, optimize processes, and ensure regulatory compliance.
