The Role:
We are looking for a passionate, empathetic, and dynamic Pharmacy Manager to lead our tight-knit Wapato team. In this role, you won't just be managing inventory and schedules—you will be the face of Horizon Pharmacy, shaping the patient experience and leading a dedicated staff with kindness and integrity.
Bilingual Candidates Preferred:
The Yakima Valley is wonderfully diverse, and our Wapato community has a significant Spanish-speaking population. While not a strict requirement, candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish are highly encouraged to apply, as this skill helps us truly connect with and provide the best care for all of our neighbors. What You'll Do (Responsibilities): Lead with
Heart:
Oversee daily operations at our Wapato location, manage a small, dedicated team of technicians, and foster a positive, collaborative, and upbeat work environment.
Prioritize Patients:
Provide exceptional, personalized medication counseling, administer immunizations, and answer clinical questions with patience and care.
Keep Things Running Smoothly:
Manage inventory, oversee ordering, and ensure standard operating procedures are met.
Ensure Compliance:
Maintain accurate records and ensure full compliance with Washington State Board of Pharmacy and federal regulations. Engage the
Yakima Valley:
Actively look for ways to improve local community health, whether through clinical programs, health education, or building relationships with area providers. What We're Looking For (Qualifications):
The Credentials:
A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD, with an active, unrestricted Washington State Pharmacist license in good standing.
The Experience:
Previous experience in a retail or independent pharmacy setting. Prior supervisory or management experience is preferred, but a natural leader looking to take the next step is welcome!
The Language Skill:
Fluency in Spanish is a massive plus and will be utilized daily.

$140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
