We're looking for an exceptional Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacists and help ensure that every patient receives safe, timely, and accurate care. Black River Health is seeking a Full-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our team at the Krohn Clinic campus.
This position is:
Full-Time; 80 hours per pay period, Day Shift Monday - Friday with every third Saturday rotation, Benefited This is more than a job — it's a chance to be part of a department that values excellence, teamwork, and professional growth. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will:
Essential Duties:
Delivers exceptional customer service by anticipating needs and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor. Enters customer and prescription information accurately into the pharmacy management system Prepares, labels, and packages medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist Processes prescription refills, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Respond to routine questions related to medications, insurance, and billing; escalate complex inquiries as appropriate.
Educational Qualifications:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required Registered as a pharmacy technician with the state board of pharmacy, required within 6 months of hire National pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board; required within one year of hire Minimum of one year of retail or outpatient pharmacy technician experience preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and related technologies At Black River Health, your work makes a real difference in the lives of families right here at home.
