Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time pharmacist position offers a rewarding opportunity to support retail and outpatient pharmacy services in a medical plaza setting near Bridgeport, West Virginia. As a critical member of the pharmacy team, you will ensure the safe dispensing of medications while providing exceptional patient counseling and guidance.
Responsibilities include:
Verifying prescriptions for accuracy and safety Counseling patients on medication usage and potential side effects Supporting daily pharmacy operations in a retail/outpatient environment Maintaining strict compliance with all pharmacy regulations and procedures Ideal candidates will bring: An active West Virginia pharmacist license in good standing Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings preferred Strong communication skills and a dedication to patient care Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Interest in transitioning to a long-term, permanent role This position is offered as a contract-to-hire opportunity, allowing you to demonstrate your skills and fit within the team before moving into a permanent role. Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, providing a consistent weekday routine. The location is conveniently situated about one hour from the Bridgeport area pharmacy facility.
