Adamsville, AL Position Summary The Pharmacy Technician Instructor will provide classroom and hands-on instruction to adult students preparing for entry-level pharmacy technician careers and the NHA Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) ExCPT examination. The instructor will create an engaging learning environment while helping students develop the knowledge, technical skills, professionalism, and confidence needed for success in the pharmacy field. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging classroom instruction in pharmacy technician theory and practice. Teach topics including pharmacy terminology, medication safety, calculations, prescription processing, medication preparation, inventory, pharmacy law, customer service, and related pharmacy operations. Demonstrate and evaluate hands-on pharmacy technician skills. Prepare lessons, activities, assignments, quizzes, and examinations. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback and academic support. Reinforce professional standards, workplace expectations, and patient safety practices. Assist students with preparation for the NHA ExCPT national certification examination. Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and required student grades. Communicate professionally with students and school administration. Follow New Path HCC policies, curriculum requirements, and instructional standards. Qualifications Current Pharmacy Technician certification and/or relevant pharmacy experience preferred. Strong knowledge of pharmacy technician practices, medication safety, pharmacy calculations, and pharmacy operations. Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or healthcare education experience preferred. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage adult learners and create a supportive, professional classroom environment.

Pay:

From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 per week
