Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and service, with a focus on accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns regarding medications and health-related questions. Maintain accurate medication records and assist in the intake process for new patients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals in acute care settings to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with staff and document medication administration accurately. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and ensuring proper storage of pharmaceuticals. Experience Previous pharmacy technician experience is preferred, but not required. A preference will be given for candidates who are certified through PTCB. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
