Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in patient service and care. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications, supporting both patients and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries regarding medications and health concerns. Maintain accurate medication records and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards. Support intake processes by gathering necessary patient information for medication management. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care in acute care settings. Conduct inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications as needed. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace to comply with safety regulations. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance pharmacy technician skills. Qualifications Experience preferred, but not required. License can be attained after hire if not previously licensed. High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to pass back ground check performed by Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy.
