Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a Temporary Lead Technician role supporting a healthcare facility specializing in adolescent and adult behavioral health. The position requires maintaining efficient pharmacy operations and assisting pharmacy staff while covering 40 hours per week until a permanent technician is hired.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (no weekends) Contract position starting July 27th 2-day hospital orientation, followed by on-site pharmacy training Dress code: business casual or scrubs (any color except blue)Primary Responsibilities:
Fill and deliver medication orders to medication rooms Manage inventory and stock supplies Receive and reconcile daily warehouse orders and invoices Review and process medication recalls Assist with medication room audits Provide supportive tasks alongside pharmacists for smooth pharmacy workflowDesired Qualifications:
Current Arkansas Pharmacy Technician license Experience in inpatient or retail pharmacy settings preferred National certification as a pharmacy technician is highly valued Familiarity with order entry systems; HCS training available Experience with Omnicell automation a plus, but not required (installation begins 07/20/2026) Ability to thrive in a behavioral health specialty environment preferredAdditional Information:
Staff size: 1.2 pharmacist full-time equivalents (FTE) Local candidates preferred; if relocation is necessary, mileage and lodging will be considered This temporary contract provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a hospital pharmacy setting with exposure to behavioral health specialties and automation technology implementation.
