Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A mail order pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ seeks three (3) Certified Pharmacy Technicians for a contract assignment with potential to convert to permanent. This role demands reliability and precision in a fast-paced environment. The position begins ASAP and runs for 13 weeks, with shifts available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and/or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. No weekend work is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter new prescriptions, refills, and patient information into the order management system, verifying accuracy. Accurately count, dispense, and label medications. Prepare and coordinate shipments for mailing, including printing and affixing shipping labels, sorting packages by courier, and ensuring timely delivery according to service level agreements. Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant pharmacy environment following Arizona Board of Pharmacy policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Values:
Certified Pharmacy Technician with a valid Arizona license and national certification. Demonstrated accuracy, adaptability, and strong attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and accountable work ethic. Friendly, positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems efficiently. Self-directed while functioning well in a team environment. Willingness to follow directions and adapt to workflow changes. Strong organizational and time management skills. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Schedule:
