Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a skilled professional ready to excel in a dynamic pharmacy environment. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced setting while maintaining compliance with Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations.
Responsibilities:
Enter new prescriptions, refills, and patient information accurately into the order management system. Count, dispense, and label medications with precision. Prepare and coordinate shipments, including printing and affixing shipping labels, sorting packages by courier, and ensuring timely dispatch to meet service standards. Maintain a clean, safe pharmacy environment in adherence to policy and regulatory standards.
Desired Qualifications:
Current Arizona pharmacy technician license and national certification. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities. Dependability with punctuality and accountability. Positive and friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and prioritizing capabilities. Location:
Phoenix, Arizona Schedule:
Flexible shifts available 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM No weekend shifts required. This 13-week contract begins September 8, with the potential for contract-to-hire based on performance. Candidates must be flexible to work the specified shifts.
